1. Clean Ocean Action beach clean up- Union Beach Sat April 25, 9am-12noon 2. Clean Communities behind police station- Sat May 9, 8am-10am 3. Bicycle raffle for eco pledges during Earth week, April 20-24 - We need people to collect pledges with names at all three lunches on April 20th, 21st, and 22nd
- Please write your name on the paper provided if you are interested, also write your teacher’s name for the period you would like to work the lunch
4. Hazlet Environmental Commission Spring Educational Seminar scheduled to be held on Wednesday, April 8th at 8 p.m. in Town Hall Wed. April 8 5. Poricy Park, Middletown clean up April 19th, 11am-2pm FREE breakfast and BBQ! 6. Other ideas/interests? |

Here is an update from our meeting today:
1. Mike Garcia is working on a building a greenhouse for Hazlet. He is going to tell us about it at the meeting and discuss how we can help him out.
2. National Recycling Day is November 15. I have ALOT of stuff to give out during that week and also a lot of posters to hang up around the school. I would like to set up a table at the lunches on the 14th to give out the items to those who are interested.
3. Don't forget that we are having a Clean Communities event on Nov 22 at 8:00 am behind the police station. |
